f31d5bcff9 feat(modelling): typed SolarPotential projection over Google buildingInsights
Slice 2 of the Solar PV Recommendation Generator (ADR-0026). Adds the
strictly-typed `SolarPotential` domain projection over the raw Google Solar
`buildingInsights` JSON that Ingestion persists (SolarRepository): the
`solarPanelConfigs` ladder, each rung broken into its roof segments with
Google's continuous azimuth/tilt mapped to the SAP octant
(`azimuth_to_sap_octant`, 0°=N clockwise → 1=N..8=NW, matching the
calculator's ORIENTATION_BY_SAP10_CODE) and RdSAP §11.1 pitch code
(`pitch_to_sap_code`, snap to {0→1,30→2,45→3,60→4,90→5}).

Pinned against the real London buildingInsights example (mirrored into
fixtures from the user-provided RTF): 400 W panels, maxArrayPanelsCount 49,
46-rung ladder, per-segment SE/NW/NE/SW octants at ~32° → pitch code 2.

11fb82b485 test(modelling): pin boiler-1/2 ASHP to the Vaillant overlay snapshot
The boiler-1 and boiler-2 after-certs predate the Vaillant product swap (they
lodge the old aroTHERM index 101413), so rather than wait on regenerated certs
these now snapshot the Vaillant overlay's own output on the before (SAP/CO2/PE
at 1e-4), taken as correct because the same overlay reproduces the corrected
Vaillant cert at delta 0 in the boiler-3 (system-boiler) pin. Drops the xfail
markers and the two stale, now-unreferenced after-cert fixtures.

32f1916619 test(modelling): finalize Vaillant ASHP swap on the cascade pins
The representative heat pump is now the Vaillant aroTHERM plus 5 kW (index
110257, committed with the generator). boiler-3's after-cert is re-sourced from
the corrected Vaillant relodgement and its cascade pin passes at delta 0
(SAP 63.85 -> 72.30). boiler-1 and boiler-2(instant-HW) pins are xfail pending
their own corrected Vaillant after-certs (_ASHP_PRODUCT_REPIN_REASON).

d9c7638b3c test(modelling): ASHP from a system gas boiler with an existing cylinder
Pins the cylinder-OVERWRITE path the earlier ASHP pins did not exercise:
boiler-1/boiler-2 added a cylinder where none existed, whereas boiler-3's
before is a mains-gas regular boiler (SAP code 101) that already heats its
own cylinder (size 2 / insulation type 2 / 80 mm). The fixed _ASHP_OVERLAY
overwrites it to the heat-pump cylinder (size 4 / insulation type 1 / 50 mm)
and switches the dwelling off mains gas (fuel 26->30, code 101->index 101413
+ category 4). The existing overlay reproduces the re-lodged after at delta 0
on SAP / CO2 / primary energy -- no overlay change needed; immersion_heating_
type is None in both, so that field (the electric-with-cylinder case) is
untouched here.

ec76acc3d8 test(modelling): ASHP pin from a gas boiler with instantaneous HW + fuel tripwire
Second ASHP before/after (boiler 2): a gas boiler whose hot water is electric/
instantaneous (water-heating SAP code 909, no cylinder). The cascade pin passes
at 1e-4, exercising the overlay's water_heating_code reset 909 -> 901 that the
boiler-1 pin (already 901) did not. (After lodges control 2209 vs the overlay's
2210 — SAP-equivalent zone controls.)

Adds an xfail(strict) tripwire test_gas_boiler_instant_hw_before_baselines: the
raw before is not scorable on its own because the mapper maps the 'BGB' gas-
boiler EES code to an empty main_fuel_type (boiler-1's 'RGE' resolves to 26),
so Sap10Calculator raises MissingMainFuelType. Harmless to the pin (the overlay
overwrites fuel -> 30); flips green when the mapper derives mains gas from the
gas-boiler SAP code (separate mapper-front fix). ADR-0024.

a1fc697d93 test(modelling): ASHP before/after cascade pin (001431) at 1e-4
A typical mains-gas combi house re-lodged as an air-source heat pump closes at
1e-4 (gas-boiler 1 example from the technical specialist). Closes one named gap
the pin surfaced: a whole-system replacement to a PCDB-indexed system left the
old Table 4a sap_main_heating_code (104) beside the new heat-pump index, and the
stale code won the calculator's efficiency dispatch (hot water billed at boiler
not HP efficiency, ΔSAP 3.98). _fold_heating now enforces the mutual exclusion
of the two efficiency anchors (setting an index clears the SAP code and vice
versa). Also fixed a pre-existing pyright annotation in the lighting applicator
test. ADR-0024.

b3badc9b10 test(modelling): HHRSH before/after cascade pins (001431) at 1e-4
The same absolute-target HHR overlay reproduces the common relodged after from
two different base systems (existing electric storage; "no system present"
electric) — proving the bundle is a true whole-system end-state. Closes one
named gap the pin surfaced: the relodged HHR cylinder lodges
cylinder_thermostat='Y', so HeatingOverlay + _fold_heating + the HHRSH overlay
gain cylinder_thermostat (ΔSAP 0.065 -> <1e-4). ADR-0024.

ca397e1e3f test(modelling): lighting before/after cascade pins (001431) at 1e-4
Slice 3 of the lighting generator (ADR-0023): two real Elmhurst before/after
cascade pins, sourced from the low_energy_lighting recommendation folder. Both
close cleanly at 1e-4 with NO xfail — lighting changes only bulb counts →
Appendix L (232), no fabric coupling (contrast glazing's draught-proofing).
  - zero existing LEDs: 20 incandescent → 20 LED
  - some existing LEDs: 5 LED + 15 incandescent → 20 LED (partial-upgrade path)
The overlay-emits-correct-counts assertion lives in the Slice 2 unit tests.

3d738bd4c6 test(fixtures): add glazing before/after certs (001431) for the pin slices
The double_glazing / secondary_glazing Elmhurst before→after Summaries the
glazing generator's cascade pins will use (ADR-0022). NB: these don't parse
yet — cert 001431 lodges several unmapped glazing labels ("Secondary glazing",
"Secondary glazing - Normal emissivity", "Triple pre 2002", truncated
"Double…"/"Triple…" variants) that the mapper must cover first.

13b18ce9fb feat(modelling): roof dispatcher insulates a flat roof
Slice 3 (ADR-0021). The dispatcher gains a flat-roof branch: a "flat"
roof_construction_type with no lodged thickness (uninsulated → None on the
Elmhurst path) gets a single flat_roof_insulation Option whose overlay raises
roof_insulation_thickness to 200 mm — tested before the loft fallback so a flat
roof's None doesn't trip the loft trigger. Pinned against the Elmhurst
before→after cert at 1e-4. Golden cohort roof firing unchanged (none across 57).

7d40cddf3b feat(modelling): fold loft into the roof dispatcher; thatch routes to loft
Slice 2 (ADR-0021). `recommend_roof_insulation` now owns the loft branch as the
fallback — a plain pitched loft, a thatched roof (the covering doesn't block
insulating the loft floor), or an unlodged roof type all take loft (joist)
insulation at 300 mm when `roof_insulation_thickness == 0`. Sloping is tested
first; a no-access roof gets nothing. Retired the standalone
`recommend_loft_insulation`; the orchestrator and its tests now call the
dispatcher.

Pinned: thatch before→after (None→300) reproduces at 1e-4; the existing loft pin
still holds through the dispatcher. Behaviour-preserving on the golden cohort
(roof measure unchanged: none across all 57) — the dispatch is strictly more
precise (won't fire loft on a sloping/no-access roof).

6484610b6c feat(modelling): recommend_roof_insulation insulates a sloping ceiling
Slice 1 of the roof-insulation generator (ADR-0021). New `recommend_roof_insulation`
dispatcher keys on the `roof_construction_type` string: a "sloping ceiling" roof
that is uninsulated (roof_insulation_thickness 0/None) gets a single
`sloping_ceiling_insulation` Option whose overlay raises roof_insulation_thickness
to 100 mm. Pinned against the Elmhurst before→after cert 001431 at 1e-4.

ea4534f3af feat(modelling): system-built walls take EWI+IWI (blocked on basement-code fix)
System-built (precast/no-fines concrete) takes both solid-wall Options like
solid brick (ADR-0019), keyed on `wall_construction == 6` (WALL_SYSTEM_BUILT,
Elmhurst `SY`). A basement-suitability guard (`main_wall_is_basement`) is added
since a below-ground basement wall is never EWI/IWI-suitable.

This is currently inert: `B Basement wall` also maps to 6 (mapper.py:2100) and
`main_wall_is_basement` is derived as `wall_construction == 6`, so every code-6
wall reads as basement and is guarded out — the live cohort is unchanged. The
system-built EWI/IWI cascade pin is committed as a strict-xfail tripwire that
flips green the moment the calculator disambiguates system-built from basement
(MAIN wall_construction==6 with main_wall_is_basement False). `wall_construction
== 8` is Park home, not system-built — not keyed.

ac78771258 feat(modelling): solid-wall generator offers IWI-only for timber frame
Slice 2b. Timber frame (wall_construction=5) takes internal wall insulation but
not external (not constructable — ADR-0019), so the generator offers IWI only.
Cascade pin: the IWI Option reproduces the re-lodged timber-frame after at
abs(diff) <= 1e-4 (general Table 6 insulation-thickness bucket, not the solid-
brick documentary path).

68aa80c174 feat(modelling): overlay models solid-wall insulation (IWI/EWI), pinned
Slice 1 of solid-wall insulation. BuildingPartOverlay gains a
wall_insulation_thickness field; the generic applicator already folds it onto
SapBuildingPart by name. With wall_insulation_type=1 (EWI) / 3 (IWI) + 100 mm,
the calculator derives the post-insulation U-value (§5.8 documentary path,
λ=0.04 default) — and for IWI also lowers the thermal-mass parameter. Two new
Elmhurst before/after cascade pins (solid-brick EWI + IWI, cert 001431)
reproduce the re-lodged after at abs(diff) <= 1e-4 across SAP/CO2/PE.

a0b6a952c3 feat(modelling): floor insulation-type overlay field + cascade pins (#1159)
Completes #1159 end-to-end with solid and suspended-floor before/after
cascade pins on cert 001431, both closing at delta 0.000000.

Adds floor_insulation_type_str to BuildingPartOverlay (the generic
field-fold applicator picks it up with no change) and has
recommend_floor_insulation set it to "Retro-fitted". Insulating an
as-built floor re-lodges its insulation as retro-fitted; the calculator
keys on this for a suspended timber floor's sealed/unsealed
determination (cert_to_inputs.py: "retro" + no U-value supplied →
sealed). Without it the suspended-floor cascade left a +1.40 SAP gap
(the floor stayed "unsealed", wrong U-value); with it the cascade
closes exactly. Solid floors are unaffected by the seal logic and stay
at delta 0; both Elmhurst after-certs lodge "Retro-fitted", so setting
it uniformly is faithful.

44d62c0c9b feat(modelling): loft overlay 270→300 mm + Elmhurst cascade pin (#1158)
Completes #1158 end-to-end. recommend_loft_insulation now emits a
300 mm overlay (was 270 mm). The Elmhurst before/after re-lodgement of
the loft-insulation measure on cert 001431 lodges the after-cert at
300 mm roof insulation; pinning before→overlay→after requires the
overlay to match that depth — at 270 mm the cascade left a +0.173 SAP
residual, at 300 mm it closes at delta 0.000000 on SAP/CO2/PE.

Adds test_loft_overlay_reproduces_the_relodged_after and updates the
roof generator unit test's thickness assertion to 300.

4c0a907a54 test(modelling): Elmhurst before/after cascade pin for cavity wall (#1154)
Closes #1154 — the Package Scorer's Elmhurst cascade pin. Drives
recommend_cavity_wall on the parsed `before` Summary, scores its
Option's overlay through PackageScorer, and asserts delta 0 (abs<=1e-4
on SAP/CO2/PE) vs the calculator's score on the re-lodged `after`
Summary.

Key finding: the handover's stated parser gate (parse_site_notes_pdf
throwing 'Manufacturer' on cert 001431) does NOT block these pins. The
Elmhurst recommendation Summaries route cleanly through the same
ElmhurstSiteNotesExtractor + EpcPropertyDataMapper chain the worksheet
e2e fixtures use (_elmhurst_worksheet_001431.build_epc). The Textract
path's window bug is unrelated and unused here.

The before→after field change is exactly wall_insulation_type 4
(uninsulated) → 2 (filled cavity), which is precisely the overlay
recommend_cavity_wall emits; the cascade closes at delta 0.000000 on
all three metrics. Before/after Summaries mirrored into
tests/domain/modelling/fixtures/ so the pin does not depend on the
unstaged workspace.
